19/08/2020: There's a bug in the browser version where, for certain browsers, the game will freeze if you try to enabled/disable sound effects or after you die. This is something to do with the app trying to save data to local storage in the browser (it's saving your score and preferences).  This is a small game I started working on for fun two years ago.
