The second game in "The 20 Games Challenge" is the classic Atari Breakout from 1976. Just as the challenge recommends, I was able to reuse a good portion of what was developed for Pong. I went with Spacewar because I already tried my hand at a not-so-great Asteroids clone a while back in a different engine, and Indy 500 just didn't grab me for some reason.
