“While it did take me a little bit to unlearn usual shmup tactics and to learn how to rely on the sword, it's a pretty good game with unique mechanics involving health and chain management. When getting a good multiplier chain going, it feels great and the difficulty scaling is well paced to still be challenging. The extra stage is a bit too easy, maybe it's like stage 5 where the difficulty is turned down for the solid story, but I digress.”
