  • Strong community support with built-in modded map integration, providing endless content and variety for players.
  • The game offers a fun and immersive multiplayer experience, allowing players to skate together and interact in a social environment.
  • The game is still in early access, which means it has some bugs and lacks certain features like a robust single-player campaign and more customization options.

  • Host migration issues in multiplayer can lead to frustrating disconnections, impacting the overall experience.

    14 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The graphics of the game have received mixed feedback, with many users noting that while they are functional, they require further polishing, especially for a 2025 release. Some players found the visuals acceptable for early access on standalone devices, but expressed disappointment with the lack of graphical options on PC and the overall quality of models and textures. Despite these criticisms, many agree that the gameplay experience remains enjoyable, particularly in smaller, well-designed areas.

    • “The graphics are functional but they don’t stop you from diving in.”
    • “I think that the smaller, more compact areas have very good graphics for, once again, a quest compatible game.”
    • “Only complaint is graphics could be better in 2025 and more options as far as time of day and weather.”
    • “I'm sorry, I appreciate you've put lots of work into this, and normally I don't care about graphics as long as the art style is consistent, but the models and textures are not good.”
    • “It seems this is ported directly from Quest; there are no graphical options to spruce it up on PC.”
  • story
    8 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The story aspect of the game is not explicitly detailed in the reviews, but players express a strong desire for more content, such as customizable options and missions, indicating that the narrative could benefit from deeper engagement. Overall, while the game is praised for its fun gameplay and potential as a top VR skate experience, there are calls for enhancements in graphics and features to enrich the storytelling experience.

    • “This game was good for early access on Quest 3, but the graphics need a bit more polish. The physics were very good, and it has the potential to be the best VR skate game we have.”
    • “Playing while listening to a Spotify playlist in the Quest 3 feels incredibly cool!”
    • “I think that the smaller, more compact areas have very good graphics for, once again, a Quest-compatible game.”
    • “This looks like a lower budget Quest game on PC, I cannot lie.”
  • gameplay
    6 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The gameplay is praised for its smooth and addictive mechanics, particularly appealing to fans of similar titles like Skater XL and Session. It offers intuitive controls, multiplayer options, and a built-in camera for filming, though some users note occasional bugs and that certain mechanics are still being refined.

    • “Smooth, addictive gameplay.”
    • “So much fun! The mechanics are quite intuitive if you have played games like Skater XL or Session.”
    • “Gameplay is incredibly intuitive; you can play with friends and film your own skating videos with a built-in camera.”
    • “It can be a little buggy and mechanics are still being fleshed out.”
  • music
    4 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The music in the game is noted to be limited and repetitive, leading many players to prefer muting it in favor of their own playlists. While a good soundtrack is appreciated, it is generally considered a bonus rather than a necessity for the gameplay experience.

    • “As far as I'm concerned, this is the type of game where a good soundtrack is a bonus, not required.”
    • “New maps and music.”
    • “The music is quite limited and becomes repetitive quickly; most players will probably just mute it and listen to their own playlists.”
  • optimization
    3 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

Overall, the game's optimization shows promise, with solid performance on PC VR and good physics, but it still requires improvements in graphics and certain controls. Users have reported glitches when using Steam Link or Virtual Desktop, as well as issues with menu navigation and smooth turning speed. Despite these concerns, the game is seen as having potential to become a top VR skateboarding experience.

    • “The performance so far is fairly solid.”
    • “So this game was good for early access for standalone on Quest 3, but graphics need a bit more polish. The physics were very good, so I decided to refund the standalone and grab the PC VR version for better graphics. The graphics are a tad bit better, but performance ran well on the link cable.”
    • “This is why I added the stars after performance, because if this was running badly on a PC then I wouldn't be happy.”
  • grinding
    3 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

Players praise the grinding mechanics as the standout feature of the game, highlighting the smooth execution and satisfying control that enhances the overall experience. The ability to perform various grinds, including feeble grinds on rails, adds to the enjoyment and depth of gameplay.

  • stability
    2 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The game's stability has received mixed feedback, with users noting good performance on the Quest 3 and PCVR versions, but also highlighting several bugs and glitches, particularly when using Steam Link or Virtual Desktop. While the physics and overall performance are praised, issues with menu navigation and control responsiveness need addressing for a smoother experience. Overall, the game shows potential but requires further refinement to enhance stability.

    • “So this game was good for early access on Quest 3, but the graphics need a bit more polish. The physics were very good, so I decided to refund the standalone version and grab the PC VR version for better graphics. The graphics are a tad bit better, but performance ran well on the link cable. I do have two issues that definitely need fixing soon: if you use Steam Link or Virtual Desktop, this game glitches at the beginning of the menu where you can't click on anything or proceed to move. Also, on the PC VR version, pushing in my thumbstick pulls my menu up, which is the same button as crouch. I didn't have that issue on standalone. Additionally, the smooth turn could be a bit faster if you could add that. Hopefully, these issues get fixed. It definitely has the potential to be the best VR skate game we have, though I hope you add more tricks and maps as well.”
    • “It can be a little buggy and mechanics are still being fleshed out.”
