    • “You want appealing visuals?”
    • “The visuals are another big point I've noticed, and I don't hate it, but I have to agree with the folks saying it causes some legibility issues and makes it hard to tell what's going on.”
    • “Toribash next is a seven-year ode to disappointment and incompetence; the physics are about as believable as a cat on a unicycle, the graphics look like they were lifted from a lost '90s CD-ROM game, and the UI is a labyrinth designed by someone who hates humanity.”
    • “Another issue is the graphics; even at the high setting, this game just looks basically the same.”
    • “As a prior player, I'm going to say the experience is generally worse than the original as well, with simplified graphics that are missing features, seemingly no dismemberment by default, non-liquid blood effects that make it barely there, and the visual for gripping has become a wireframe cube, which makes it actually pretty difficult to see amidst four-player fights.”

    • “This game is complete trash compared to the original. I didn't have fun at all and the glitches are so numerous that it's not worth it.”
    • “Disappointing; it is obviously unfinished, very buggy and clunky, and it's basically a worse version of the original. On top of that, the new features are definitely not worth the 7 years of wait.”
    • “As it currently stands, it's a buggy mess that is borderline unplayable. The developer is working to fix it, and I will change my review to positive if this game gets fixed, but as of right now, I just can't recommend it.”
