Star Horizon
- May 28, 2015
- Orbital Knight
Star Horizon simply has too many issues to warrant playing. Poor graphics, voices and variety make for a dull experience, and one level is broken to the point of unbeatable. If you want to blast some enemy ships, just play Starfox again.

As the pilot John, players must navigate through intense battles, make moral choices and uncover a conspiracy that threatens humanity's existence. The game features stunning visuals, voice-acted dialogues, and a dynamic storyline that adapts to player's decisions.

The story is generally criticized for being illogical and poorly designed, with many players finding it silly and forgettable. While there are elements of non-linearity and player choices, these often lead to minimal changes in dialogue or gameplay, making the narrative feel repetitive and lacking depth. Despite decent graphics and voice acting, the overall presentation and engagement of the story leave much to be desired, with many players feeling it can be easily ignored.
“Decent game with reasonable story content.”
“Well, the story and idea are nice (though not new, more like a mixture of Star Wars and Mass Effect), but the gameplay isn't.”
“The story apparently has alternate paths that are determined by choices the player must make at certain points, but half the time it puts the options up on the screen and only lets you select one of them.”
“It has good graphics, music, and voice acting, but the dialogue and plot make little logical sense.”
“The story is silly; the choices you make between missions only change some dialogue during cut scenes or make you fight/avoid some boss fights.”
“The story can be completely ignored, even though you can pick sides in this star war.”
