The game's atmosphere is praised for its beauty and variety, with developers successfully creating distinct environments that enhance immersion. Overall, while the atmosphere is visually appealing, it may not consistently evoke strong emotional responses.
“It's nice to see that in a game that's both beautiful and atmospheric, no one seems to be relying on cheap jump scares anymore, unless it's a 2D platformer or something.”
“The fact that the developer can create multiple different atmospheres you can jump between is pretty damn cool.”
“The engine really helped make the atmospheres feel believable, even if at times they felt disjointed, especially in the black hole.”
“Atmosphere: 5/10 - there are some moments when I would actually feel scared, but after a little while I was completely aware of when something was going to happen.”
