Bit Golf

"Bit Golf" is a puzzle game set in 2046, where AI has sought revenge on mankind by enslaving humans for computationally intensive labor. With a shortage of data storage devices, your job is to make files smaller by painting repeated sequences of text different colors to create a palette of strings that can be reused. Your score is based on the strings in the palette, the length of the output string, and an overhead cost. The goal is to maximize data entropy while minimizing file size.
