Wasteland is a single player survival role playing game with a science fiction theme. It was developed by inXile Entertainment and was released on November 13, 2013. It received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics and positive reviews from players.

The game mechanics were based directly on those used in the tabletop role-playing games Tunnels and Trolls and Mercenaries, Spies and Private Eyes created by Wasteland developers Ken St. Andre and Michael Stackpole.
