  • story
    20 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The game's story is largely criticized for its lack of depth and originality, with many reviewers noting that it offers little more than a basic framework across its eight levels. While players can choose from various difficulty settings, the overall narrative fails to leave a lasting impression, and the game is described as having generic monsters and uninspired sound design. Despite some enjoyment in gameplay modes, the absence of a meaningful story detracts from the overall experience.

    • “The game has 3 modes: story (8 levels), boss arena (where you're pitted against 2 bosses at the same time), and endless (see how far you can get against ever worsening waves of enemies).”
    • “In story mode, you get 4 different difficulties, 'hell' being the hardest, and 10 different character skins, which add nothing but cosmetic differences.”
    • “Good single player story, challenging boss arenas, enjoyable multiplayer, and online score rankings.”
    • “Enjoyable little game, but offers no new concept, story idea, or concept that will stay with you in the long run.”
    • “But ultimately I feel the price of the game is unjustified, and the time invested does not yield a satisfying return, such as progressing through the story mode at a reasonable rate.”
    • “It looks pretty meh, there's pretty much no story, sound and music are nothing special and monsters are very generic.”
  • music
    10 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The music in the game is generally considered mediocre, with many reviewers noting that it lacks impact and fails to enhance the overall experience. While some praise the level design and variety of enemies, the sound and music are often described as unremarkable and generic.

    • “With its diverse gameplay mechanics, the replayability factor is incredibly high.”
    • “Each run feels fresh and engaging, making you want to dive back in for more.”

The gameplay is characterized by its simplicity, with straightforward mechanics and enemy AI that contribute to an enjoyable experience. Players appreciate the innovative aspects and customization options, which enhance satisfaction despite the basic graphics.

    • “Quite innovative gameplay, satisfying players who enjoy customization.”
  • stability
    2 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The stability of the game is marred by inconsistent hit detection, particularly with zombies wielding clubs, allowing them to land hits on players without proper response. This issue has been noted multiple times, indicating a significant flaw in gameplay mechanics.

    • “The hit detection on some of the zombies, especially the ones with clubs, is buggy and allows them to get free hits on you no matter what.”
