- The game features a charming pixel art style and a great soundtrack, enhancing the overall experience.
- Hashtag Dungeon offers a unique concept with player-generated levels and a variety of gameplay modes, including horde mode and random dungeon generation.
- Despite some issues, many players find the gameplay fun and engaging, especially for fans of roguelike titles like Binding of Isaac.
- The game is currently unplayable for many users due to broken online level sharing, which is a core feature of the game.
- Gameplay can be tedious and grindy, with unbalanced character classes and a lack of meaningful upgrades, leading to frustration.
- Numerous bugs and control issues, such as auto-transitioning from menus and starting without the ability to attack, detract from the overall enjoyment.
