The gameplay is criticized for its lack of depth and engaging mechanics, with players unable to retain cards between rounds, severely limiting deck-building opportunities. The AI is perceived to have an unfair advantage, and the absence of innovative card mechanics further detracts from the overall experience, leading to a frustrating and unfulfilling card game system.
“There is not a lot of depth to the game at all. The AI is given much better cards than you are given. The mechanic of upgrading your own cards does not come into play at all because all of your cards are lost after each round. You keep no cards you get from packs between rounds, so you cannot even save cards to develop a deck to actually upgrade any of your cards, except for the cards that literally can't get destroyed when they are removed. This has got to be the worst system of card game playing I have ever seen. On top of the mechanics of deck building being completely lacking, so is the depth of the card mechanics. There are absolutely no interesting or new mechanics.”

The campaign's story is largely lacking, with reviewers noting a minimal narrative arc and unexciting sound effects during combat, which detracts from the overall experience.
“The 'war-like' matches were pleasant enough, but the sound effects during combat were rather unexciting and there wasn't much of anything resembling a story arc to the campaign.”
