“The soundtrack is uninspired, story non-existent, gameplay is meh...so no recommendation.”
“It probably could be fun if played together with friends, but single player is lacking in more ways than one: controls are far from ideal, design does not feel that good, inventory mechanics are over-engineered, the soundtrack became boring fast (at least for my tastes), rhythm games are also badly designed for single player.”
“The lyrics for the little amount of songs that have them almost sound like gibberish until you actually listen to them multiple times.”

The drawn style and music make it age like fine wine, so give this game a try!”

A fun brawler with some unique thinking twists but stutters with a poor checkpoint system. Great for a Friday night and a few friends.

The fragmented structure, and stop-n-go pacing due to the plethora of RPG elements may try to murder your good time occasionally, but they’re also quite fantastic additions. If you’re the kind of person that finds traditional punch-and-advance brawlers to not have enough depth, Charlie Murder may be just the game to warm you to the genre. Those of you that expect non-stop action may not make it beyond the first 30-minutes without being overwhelmed by a dense learning experience. Once you've figured things out, it’s simple to understand and highly rewarding, but getting there is half the battle. Be prepared...when Charlie Murder hits its stride, it's an exhilarating, memorable ride that may be hard to forget for quite some time.
