With random difficulty spikes, strange controls, and almost mandatory hidden power-ups constantly halting my progress through the poorly translated story, I didn't see much reason to keep playing Cast of the Seven Godsends: Redux. I also don't see much reason for anyone else to play it either.
Get on SteamIn Cast of the Seven Godsends: Redux, players control a king's son on a quest to defeat an evil warlord and rescue his father. With a variety of weapons and armor, players battle through levels filled with enemies and bosses, all while avoiding traps and obstacles. This retro-style platformer is a remastered version of the original, with improved graphics, new levels, and updated gameplay mechanics.
