The search games API allows you to search through over 745,000+ games and every day about 300 games are added.
Filtering
There are many filters and other useful and informative tools at your disposal.
You can use any filter that comes back in the filter_options field in the response. You then just have to pass the key of the filter and value to the filters parameter. For example &filters=[{"key":"platform","values":[{"value":"pc"}],"connection":"OR"},{"key":"genre","values":[{"value":"action"}]}] filters platform:pc and genre:action.
Sorting
For sorting, just pass computed_rating, release_date, or price to the sort parameter. The sort order can be influenced by the sort-order parameter. For example, to sort by rating descendingly (best rated games first): &sort=computed_rating&sort-order=desc .
