Critic Reviews
Wolfenstein: Youngblood Review – Stale Synthwave
Wolfenstein: Youngblood still features the excellent gunplay that the series is known for, only this time it’s paired with excellent level design thanks to the contributions of Arkane Studios. Unfortunately, the game falls flat just about everywhere else, with a paper-thin story, tacked-on RPG mechanics, repetitive side missions, and dumb AI.
60%Wolfenstein: Youngblood Review – Oofenstein
Wolfenstein: Youngblood succeeded in doing something I didn’t think possible: killing all enthusiasm I had for the series. Sure, the gunplay still feels great but that doesn’t matter when the entire product is hampered by tone-deaf mechanics that are trying to fix a game that wasn’t broken.
50%Wolfenstein: Youngblood Review
Youngblood is aggressively okay, but doesn’t come close to recapturing the joy of its predecessor.
