Overcome obstacles. Succeed through failure. Join forces with the paper square to overcome your obstacles by... dying? In this game, dying leaves behind a tangible corpse that can serve as a platform.  Intentionally dying could mean being able to reach that platform, but it could also mean blocking the path to future progress.
