Sonic Advance is a kids' platformer game, notable for being the first Sonic release on a Nintendo console, despite the companies' historic rivalry. The game features four playable characters, including the first 2D appearance of Amy Rose, and borrows elements from classic Sonic games while introducing updated character designs. Multiplayer features and mini-games are also included, with a port released for the Nokia N-Gage as SonicN.
