The graphics of the game have been widely criticized for their poor quality, featuring a mix of outdated pixel art and amateurish MS Paint-style drawings. Reviewers suggest that the low visual standards may stem from either budget constraints or a lack of artistic talent, and the absence of resolution options or graphics tweaks further detracts from the experience.
“The artwork here is terrible; it's a blend of old retro pixel art used as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics, and some of the most amateurish MS Paint style drawings I've ever seen.”
“It's unclear if this is due to a lack of budget to hire someone who can do graphics properly, or a lack of talent. Regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result of these decisions.”
“There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks.”

The music in the game is described as relaxing and enjoyable, contributing positively to the overall experience. Players appreciate the option to customize sound settings, including the ability to individually deactivate music and sound effects.
“One thing to highlight is that this game has personalized names for your snakes. Additionally, you can individually deactivate the sound and music separately, which is appreciated. You can also configure the keys for each player.”
“I relaxed for 5 minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.”
“One thing to highlight is that this game has personalized names for your snakes. Additionally, you can individually deactivate the sound and music separately, which is appreciated. You can also configure the keys for each player, although they only deal with two buttons: one to turn left and the other to turn right.”

The gameplay is criticized for its lack of engaging mechanics and repetitive actions, leading to boredom even when played with friends. Players find certain powers, like "wormholes" and "paintbuckets," ineffective or frustrating, while the manual selection of rounds adds unnecessary hassle. Additionally, movement feels subpar compared to traditional snake games, further diminishing the overall experience.
“This is a game to play with friends, but even with them, they will get bored very easily, since you don't really have much to do or many mechanics. The 'wormholes' power becomes useless because it may teleport you stuck to a wall and die instantly. Additionally, the rounds you want to play have to be selected manually by raising the arrow instead of writing a number, so if you want many rounds, you will have to spam the click. The 'paintbuckets' power is literally useless and the worst part is that it dyes your snake for almost 5 seconds, making it the worst power along with the 'wormholes' power if you are unlucky. The only power that really works, if it is not very close to a wall, is the 'speedpills'. Finally, there is a bug that occasionally causes the snake to leave no trace, which can affect your ability to confine or ambush your friends.”
“The gameplay is worse than regular snake games as the movement feels bad.”
