The music in the game is widely praised for its calming and relaxing qualities, perfectly complementing the gameplay and aesthetic. Reviewers highlight the soundtrack as exceptional, with many expressing a desire for additional tracks or a soundtrack DLC. Overall, the music enhances the gaming experience, providing a soothing backdrop even during challenging moments.
“Beautiful aesthetic, beautiful music, simple but good enough gameplay...”
“The soundtrack is amazing and is perfect for calming you down after falling off at the last platform.”
“Not only will your eyes love this game but your ears will as well, the music is absolutely magnificent; even while failing a course over and over, the music will keep you calm and mellow.”
“There are typos everywhere, the music is all insufferably saddening with a certain track having literal tapping every few seconds just to anger you, the colors in some levels are awful with an example being a level with bright orange on top of even brighter orange so you can't see anything, and the levels all very much look the same.”
“Incredible simplistic game that makes you rage extremely hard while listening to calm and relaxing music.”
“Sinarun so far that I have been playing it for it's not that bad it will make you rage on some parts but the music in the game is really calm and relaxing but I would get this game if you have coupons or wait for it to be on sale that's just me but I recommend this game for sure!”

The gameplay of the game is characterized by its beautiful aesthetics and music, alongside a mix of simple yet challenging mechanics that some players find unforgiving due to unrealistic physics. While many appreciate the unique jump momentum and the overall fun experience, others suggest improvements such as additional mechanics or levels to enhance survivability and gameplay depth. Overall, the game is praised for its smoothness and engaging atmosphere, despite some criticisms regarding movement mechanics and the need for controller support.
“Great game! It's still in early access, but its amazing quality and the gameplay is fantastic.”
“Amazing atmosphere, amazing gameplay, and an amazing concept.”
“Sinarun reduces the complex mechanics of bhopping/surf mods to the bare essentials without sacrificing the sense of speed and difficulty.”
“Honestly, I think the game would benefit from some more levels or mechanics.”
“Soapy movement mechanics, really slippery, like the ice level from Mario.”
“The gameplay is pretty bad too.”

The graphics of the game are generally praised for their stunning visuals and unique aesthetic, with some reviewers highlighting the effective use of minimalism. However, there are criticisms regarding the unimmersive physics and gameplay mechanics that can detract from the overall experience. Overall, the graphics receive a mixed reception, with scores around 7/10 reflecting both appreciation and concerns about functionality.
“Sinarun is one amazing fast-paced parkour/platforming game with truly stunning music and visuals.”
“Visually, this game is stunning; while the graphics are very minimalistic, it is one of the few examples of minimalism done very well in a game.”
“The PvP is flawless, and the graphics are hyper-realistic.”
“Let's see, it's a first-person platformer where you can't see your feet, so you can't judge how to land. You slide really far when you land, the controls are extremely touchy, speed is inconsistent, and there are often tiny gaps that you will fall between that you can't see because of the art style.”
“This game has the simplest mechanics and minimalistic graphics, yet this is one of the most challenging platformer games I've played.”
