- Well-designed gameplay with a fair scoring system rewarding precision and punctuality, easy to learn but hard to master.

- Beautiful and authentic Japanese-inspired routes and atmosphere with seasonal and weather variations enhancing immersion.
- Flexible gameplay options including auto-drive mode and difficulty settings catering to both casual players and simulation fans.
- Currently limited content with only two routes and four train types, making it feel somewhat small in scope for now.
- Lack of tutorial and limited explanation of train signals and systems can be challenging for newcomers to train sims.
- No passengers or interactive driver’s cabin yet, reducing immersion; such features are planned but not present at launch.

- Some bugs and minor issues remain as normal in early access, such as occasional sound glitches, control quirks, and camera limitations.
graphics
274 mentions Positive Neutral NegativeThe game’s graphics are widely praised for their stunning, photorealistic quality and detailed Japanese scenery, all rendered smoothly even on mid-range or older hardware thanks to Unreal Engine 5 optimization. Users highlight the impressive visuals, vibrant environments, and realistic train models as standout features that significantly surpass competitors like Train Sim World. While a few note minor optimization quirks and occasional graphical issues, the overall consensus is that the graphics deliver an immersive, highly polished experience rarely seen in train simulators, especially considering the game's relatively small size and single-developer origin.
“The combination of stunning 3D graphics, the Japanese setting, and gameplay mechanics that are easy to learn but hard to master come together to create an absolutely thrilling experience!”
“Thanks to Unreal Engine 5, the visuals are absolutely stunning and far more photorealistic than many other games.”
“Incredibly detailed, beautiful graphics, flawless performance, an absolute triumph.”
“Other graphics options are fairly nondescript, and it's a very tedious game of trial-and-error to figure out how each of them affects quality and performance, especially as the engine often doesn't clean things up properly (VRAM usage keeps creeping up) and you have to restart the game every couple setting changes in order to see what the framerate is really like.”
“No matter which graphics preset I select (ultra, medium, or low), the texture quality remains noticeably low during gameplay. I'm not sure whether there is some kind of automatic graphics optimization system that is dynamically lowering the texture quality, but it would be great if the developer could look into this.”
“I bought this game during its early access and I am having wonderful experience with it but there is an issue I would like to tell you: even though the game size is very small it has very realistic graphics hence as I have a 1650 GTX graphics card I can only play it at medium settings and there is one issue with my gameplay where the speedometer and other things inside the train is blur and also the game's digital speedometer is blur only in some trains and in others it is being displayed properly. I have tried different settings but nothing is working but everything else is fine outside the train, the map is good and scenic.”
