GMEdit

GMEdit is a free, open-source code editor specifically designed for GameMaker. It supports multiple GameMaker versions and GML-based mods, and features a high-performance editor with GameMaker-styled keyboard shortcuts. GMEdit offers combined editors for objects, timelines, and extensions, as well as syntax extensions for easier code writing, and fast save/load operations.
