Farpoint
A bit of refinement and more unique situations could have made this a real classic, but Farpoint still succeeds in bringing first person shooters into VR with some fast gameplay and smart use of controls.

About
Farpoint is a Sci-Fi VR shooter game that can be played single-player or co-op with 2 players. The game takes place on a hostile alien planet, where you must survive by battling indigenous and alien creatures while trying to reunite with scattered scientists. The Versus Expansion Pack adds new game modes, player progression system, weapon progression system, new trophies, and improved co-op mode with CHAOS difficulty. The Cryo Pack DLC offers 2 new co-op maps, new virtual toys, and a challenge mode.
- Fantastic gunplay and freedom of movement set Farpoint apart from most VR shooting experiences.
- The Aim Controller functionality is excellent, providing a unique and immersive shooting experience.
- Visually impressive with captivating alien landscapes and high production values that rival non-VR AAA games.
- The campaign is basic and linear, lacking variety and depth in gameplay.
- The save and checkpoint system is atrocious, leading to frustrating gameplay experiences.
- Playing without the Aim Controller can result in poor controls and a diminished experience.
