About
Everreach: Project Eden is a fast-paced, story-driven action RPG set on the visually stunning planet of Eden. As a member of the Everreach elite forces, players must uncover the secrets of Eden's ancient civilization and save its future. Engage in epic battles against dangerous enemies, master unique weaponry, and explore diverse environments in this thrilling sci-fi adventure.

- The game features a visually appealing environment and character design, reminiscent of classic sci-fi aesthetics.
- The story is engaging with interesting twists, keeping players invested throughout the short playtime.
- The voice acting, particularly for the main character and her robot companion, adds charm to the narrative.
- Controls are clunky and unresponsive, making combat and movement frustrating, especially with the hover bike mechanics.
- The game suffers from a lack of polish, with issues such as poor hit detection, awkward animations, and frequent invisible walls.
- The checkpoint save system is poorly implemented, leading to significant frustration when players have to replay large sections after dying.
story
295 mentions Positive Neutral NegativeThe story of "Everreach: Project Eden" is generally described as interesting and engaging, with some players appreciating its sci-fi elements and character development, particularly the protagonist Nora Harwood. However, many reviews note that the narrative feels short, predictable, and at times disjointed, often drawing comparisons to better-known titles like "Mass Effect" without achieving the same depth or impact. While the game offers some meaningful choices that affect the ending, the overall execution is hampered by technical issues and a lack of substantial content, leaving players wanting more from the storyline.
“The story was interesting; you play as Nora Harwood, a security officer for Everreach, a capitalist super corporation whose recent efforts to colonize Eden have suddenly come to a halt.”
“The story has twists and turns, the writing is well-done, and the characters are believable and relatable.”
“The story is pretty engaging, and I liked the humor and twists.”
“Even the story is not original and the choices are stupid.”
“Additionally, the storyline feels disjointed and fails to draw you in; the character development is shallow, leaving me indifferent to their fates.”
“The premise certainly had the ingredients to be interesting, but the poor pacing makes you wade through bland story for the majority of the game and just when things start to get interesting, the game ends.”

50%Everreach: Project Eden Review
Fans of Eurojank (critic guilty as charged) can generally stomach low production values and lack of polish, but Everreach: Project Eden is just plain (and incomplete) junk. It fails as a Mass Effect-esque RPG, and fails far more as a shooter. One has to wonder why the developer still charges so high for something as badly-made as this, especially since it has obviously abandoned it.
30%Everreach: Project Eden review – Far from paradise
This game fails at almost everything it sets out to do. With janky animations, embarrassing story, awful combat mechanics, and horrible enemy layouts and AI, there's just not much positive to say about it.
