In the small, isolating hamlet of Elkedor, lawyer Arold Baker investigates the disappearance of his two children, leading him to a hidden passage revealing lies, compulsions, and hatred within his own family. As Arold's marriage crumbles and his alcoholism deepens, he faces twisted secrets that threaten to shatter his already fragile reality.
