Black Room

"Black Room" is a browser-based, award-winning narrative game about insomnia and shifting states of consciousness. Players experience hallucinatory, pixelated landscapes filled with sprites from classic video games, while point-and-click mini-games interrupt the narrative. The game stars a majority women cast of video game sprites from the 1970s to present day, aiming to bring these characters together in a feminist dungeon crawler experience.
