"Ascent is a casual evolution-themed game set in the primordial ocean. Players start as a small aquatic creature, aiming to grow, find a mate, and reproduce to evolve. Consume food to grow, avoid dangerous creatures, and use receptors after mating to collect biomaterials. Permadeath occurs when colliding with enemies or in the foggy realm, but players can continue their journey in a new body. The ultimate goal is to reach the ocean's surface."
