Anachronox

Anachronox is a single-player Science Fiction Role Playing game with an intriguing story, good game mechanics, pretty visuals, and a good soundtrack. You play as Sylvester 'Sly Boots' Bucelli, a down-on-his-luck private investigator, who along with a cast of six other unlikely heroes, embarks on a quest to save the universe from destruction. The game is set on an abandoned alien artificial planet and is known for its humor and grinding, but also has a reputation for being buggy.
