  • The game features turn-based tactical gameplay similar to XCOM and Jagged Alliance, appealing to fans of the genre.
  • It offers varied soldier classes, weapons, and strategic team-based objectives like capture the flag.
  • The game is free-to-play with the potential for deep strategic play and cooperative multiplayer.
  • The game suffers from a very small and dwindling player base, making multiplayer matches hard to find or unplayable.
  • There are severe performance issues including low frame rates even on good hardware, along with buggy and clunky controls and interface.
  • The game is heavily pay-to-win with expensive premium gear giving major advantages, unbalanced matchmaking, poor AI and many bugs and localization issues.
  • gameplay

    18 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The gameplay is a turn-based, strategic system emphasizing stealth and tactical decision-making, comparable to titles like X-COM but less refined. While praised for its depth and challenge, especially for players who enjoy thoughtful, chess-like strategy, criticisms focus on unbalanced classes, bugs, and a pay-to-win model that hampers long-term strategy development. Overall, the gameplay is engaging but requires improvements in mechanics and balancing to reach its full potential.

    • “However this is not a standard shooter, it's a turn-based strategy that relies on a fog of war to make a stealth mechanic.”
    • “The gameplay is solid and it left me wanting to play more.”
    • “Strategic turn-based gameplay allows for deep tactics and proper team co-op.”
    • “While other classes are so bad they're unplayable such as: the gunner (support), heavy gunner (support) takes 3 turns to setup, range is okay but they can use cover and just sit out in the open till they get shot to death in 1 turn, RPG launcher (support) range/damage is a joke and takes a full turn to reload with an awful chance to hit. In what world does a noob tube do better in every single way than an RPG (rocket propelled grenade)? Flamethrower (heavy inf) isn't really a flamethrower unit, same as the RPG but worse, shoots a rocket that deals 1 damage and then lights the ground on fire, which you think would help but nope, enemies just walk off it and kill you while you waste your turn reloading. Sapper (commando) lays traps and mines; I've never seen anyone play them in my 300+ games, so what's that tell you? These are all worthless when it comes to damage, combat skills, and overall gameplay.”
    • “All in all this is a fun game, don't get me wrong, but right now it's too buggy. The gameplay and mechanics need a huge overhaul and the pay-to-win aspect needs to be toned down a bit. Other than that, you guys have a fun and great game; it just needs a little more work and some love, and even I would spend money for this if it gets fixed up.”
    • “There are a few bugs but nothing dramatic. The gameplay is getting really bad, and the more you advance, the more you can feel that you can't build a real strategy unless you spend a lot and a lot of money.”
  • graphics

    5 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The graphics are generally described as high-detail 2D visuals with good optimization, allowing smooth performance on most PCs. However, some users find the graphics outdated and mediocre, expressing dissatisfaction with related gameplay elements.

    • “2D graphics are highly detailed.”
    • “Good graphics and well optimized (60 fps on highest settings on most PCs).”
    • “Graphics are out of date.”
    • “Mediocre graphics.”
    • “Graphics are unbalanced and the AI scaling is poor.”
  • grinding

    5 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

Users find the grinding aspect excessive and tedious, requiring significant time investment for leveling up or evolving. The game feels more like a farming simulator with poor balance and limited motivation to continue, coupled with pay-to-win elements that detract from enjoyment.

    • “But there is so much grinding involved to level up.”
    • “Feels a bit grindy and there is not enough incentive to keep doing so.”
    • “A lot of farming and dedication time required to evolve.”
  • story

    4 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The story is considered typical and unoriginal by users, though the developer is praised for well-designed instruction missions. However, limited player availability restricted further engagement beyond the tutorials.

    • “The developer did a good job with the instruction missions.”
    • “Have been so good... a common story these days unfortunately.”
  • optimization

    3 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

Optimization is inconsistent, with some users reporting poor performance such as 10 FPS on a GTX 1060, while others experience smooth 60 FPS on high settings. Minor UI and localization issues related to optimization are noted, but overall the game remains enjoyable.

    • “Good graphics and well optimized (60 fps on highest settings on most PCs).”
    • “It's got localization (language) issues and some UI issues in the area of optimization, but otherwise it's a pretty solid and fun tactical game.”
    • “Runs at 10 fps with a 1060 GTX, very badly optimized.”
    • “It's got localization (language) issue and some UI issues in the area of optimization, but otherwise it's a pretty solid and fun tactical game.”
  • humor

    2 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The humor in the game is subtle and arises mainly from quirky translation and amusing situations, such as the irony of non-functioning in-game purchases. While not overtly comedic, these elements add a lighthearted charm that contributes to player enjoyment.

    • “Although there are not many players, the translation of the game is sometimes funny (just like my English :p).”
    • “This game is intended to earn on packages, but what you buy is just worthless — this one is hilarious.”
  • stability

    1 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The game is enjoyable but suffers from significant bugs and stability issues that impact gameplay and mechanics. Improvements and optimizations are needed to provide a smoother, more reliable experience.
