Xenosaga: Episode I - Der Wille zur Macht is a sci-fi RPG and the first installment of a trilogy, following in the footsteps of Xenogears. The game features a visible enemy system, eliminating random encounters, and a strategic battle system with combo attacks and AP/EP gauges. Characters can learn unique Ether spells and use boosts to act next, while an onscreen turn list and slot system add depth to combat strategy.
