grinding
50 mentions Positive Neutral NegativeThe grinding aspect of the game has received mixed feedback, with many players finding it excessively tedious and unbalanced, particularly due to lag issues and a lack of clear tutorials. While some enjoy the mindless grinding and the blend of farming and combat elements, others feel it detracts from the overall experience, making it less enjoyable than traditional farming sims. Overall, the game is seen as a grind-heavy experience that may appeal to fans of relentless resource gathering and action, but it may not satisfy those seeking a relaxing farming simulation.
“Art assets seem oddly less detailed for half of the sprites in the game, and nasty lag/client freeze issues make this game more grindy than it should be.”
“It was released in an alpha state and while 1.1 was quickly released after, it's still incredibly unbalanced and generally just grinding - nothing really 'fun' about it.”
“There isn't a tutorial to introduce you to the materials needed to build the turrets that will aid in a successful run (which I've yet to accomplish after 3 hours of grinding). This 'action roguelike' is a terrible grind thus far.”
