Learn how to function in society with this hilarious game about a mildly evil robot with a prototype mouth. Communicate in actual human conversations by mastering the difficult and disgusting art of using a tongue and lips to make words.

- The game features a hilarious concept with comedic dialogue and awkward scenarios that provide a good mix of challenge and entertainment.
- Playing with a controller offers a smoother experience, making the gameplay more enjoyable compared to mouse and keyboard controls.
- The game captures social anxiety well, providing a unique and funny experience that can lead to moments of genuine laughter.
- The controls, particularly the tongue mechanic, are frustrating and can feel unreliable, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the game.
- The game lacks polish, with issues such as inaccurate scoring and a lack of replayability, making it feel short and less rewarding.
- Many players found the difficulty spikes in later levels to be overwhelming, leading to frustration rather than fun.

Speaking Simulator (Nintendo Switch)
Speaking Simulator does a great job at providing comedic dialogue and a diverse selection of situations that need conversing, but overall the game falls short. The upgrade system was a welcomed addition but didn’t change my perception after finishing the game. If you are willing to accept the fact that you will likely only get a few hours of enjoyment out of this title, then this is something to consider for those looking for comedic fun.
65%Speaking Simulator Review
Speaking Simulator is a great idea delivered in mostly the right way. It throws its android protagonist into some brilliantly awkward situations and, once you've unlocked his entire repertoire of facial movements, things get pleasingly hectic. However, a lack of polish with regards to the controls, zero replayability, a janky combo system and the fact you don't actually seem to be able to fail a level all conspire to hold it back from being really easy to recommend.
