Silent Hill: Origins is a single player survival survival game with a horror theme. It was developed by Climax Studios and was released on November 6, 2007. It received mostly positive reviews from both critics and players.
"Silent Hill: Origins" is the prequel to the original Silent Hill game, and the 5th entry in the survival horror series. Players alternate between nightmare and real versions of the town, solving puzzles and fighting monstrous enemies, some of which are disturbingly human-like. Melee weapons break after use, and one-shot items and guns are also available. Health is indicated by the edge of the screen turning red when low.
