RAD is a gorgeous and addictive entry into the Roguelite genre with creative powerups and a groovy soundtrack
"RAD is a single-player hack and slash rogue-like game set in a post-post-apocalyptic world. As a teenage protagonist, you explore the ever-changing radioactive wasteland of the Fallow, battling strange creatures and gaining mutations that alter your abilities. With wonderful gameplay, good visuals, and delightful music, RAD offers a funny and engaging experience, albeit very grinding."

Critic Reviews
Rad (Switch) Review
Forget post-apocalyptic games. This one’s double post-apocalyptic. (it’s also rad)
70%RAD Review
RAD doesn’t do anything particularly new for the roguelike genre, but it doesn’t necessarily need to in order to be an enjoyable game in its own right. The over-the-top '80s neon aesthetic is consistently charming, the level-to-level gameplay is both rewarding and nail-bitingly intense, and there’s a good amount of ‘meta’ progress to be made beyond the limits of a single run. On the other hand, the RNG can be brutal in how it distributes power-ups between runs, and overall performance on the Switch (especially in handheld) leaves something to be desired. Even given these shortcomings, though, we’d give RAD a cautious recommendation. If you find yourself drawn to the likes of Dead Cells, Risk of Rain, Ironcast, or any other release in the massively popular roguelike genre, RAD could be right up your alley – assuming you can look past its annoying problems.

Beautiful, bold and a lot of fun. RAD is a great game and a great roguelike. There is a lot of variety and every run is truly unique. There are some good persistent upgrade features that make every run feel like you're edging towards eventual victory. You could play this game for a very long time until you see everything and I really want to see everything. If you like roguelikes or a great deal of variation in your gameplay, you'll not be disappointed spending your cash on this quirky title.
