Pokémon Pearl is a turn-based strategy RPG, with both single-player and multi-player options. The game follows a young trainer's journey to train and battle Pokémon, while stopping a criminal organization's plans. It includes new features such as Internet play, updated battle mechanics, and Pokémon Contests, as well as the addition of 107 new Pokémon. Completion requires trading between versions to collect all Pokémon.
