"Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero" is a story-driven prequel to the Mortal Kombat series, featuring Sub-Zero as the protagonist in a side-scrolling fighter/platformer game. Gameplay includes exploring levels, fighting enemies, and a new 'use' button and inventory system, with an RPG-like experience point system for learning new moves. Sub-Zero's classic fighting interface remains, but with added platforming elements and a greater emphasis on story.
