In Mortal Kombat 3, Emperor Shao Kahn has defeated Earthrealm and enslaved its population. A small group of Raiden's chosen warriors, including Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, and Sub-Zero, must fight against Kahn's extermination squads, including Cyrax, Sektor, and Sindel, to save Earth. New features in this 2D fighting game include multi-level playfields, "Dial-A-Combo" attacks, and a "Run" button to increase fighting speed.
