H1Z1: Battle Royale

H1Z1 may well have been inspired by the original version of PUBG, and it shows, but in Auto Royale it provides one of the most fun battle royale modes out there.
H1Z1: Battle Royale is a fast-paced, competitive shooter where players parachute in and fight to be the last one standing. Search for weapons, ammo, and vehicles, and develop strategies to outlast the competition as a toxic gas cloud compresses the map. Play solo or in a team of up to five members, with the option to drive into battle in a four-person vehicle and compete to be the last team driving.

H1Z1 Battle Royale Review -PS4
It's not particularly meaty yet and it needs a fair bit of work done on its visual side, but H1Z1 Battle Royale is a fine alternative to Fortnite for PS4 players. The redesign of the game for consoles has gone pretty well, and there's more joy and cohesion in squad games compared to its PS4 competition. At the grand old price of free, it deserves a chance if you're seeking something a little more grounded for your Battle Royale buck.

Though it’s not without fault, and will likely do little to take away from Fortnite’s ever-growing popularity, H1Z1 on PS4 is a worthy addition to the crowded genre. Plus, it’s free. Can’t complain with that. Microtransactions: Yes, you can buy in-game currency for money. It's free to play though, so that's pretty much expected at this point.
