God of War III sets new standards for violence in video games whilst retaining the gameplay that made the previous two entries superlative.
"God of War III" is a single-player revenge-driven game set in brutal Greek mythology, where players control the ex-Spartan warrior Kratos. Armed with double-chained blades and new weapons, Kratos scales Mt. Olympus and battles dark creatures, solving intricate puzzles to destroy Olympus. The game boasts of a new game engine, quadrupled texture resolutions since its predecessor, and state-of-the-art visual technologies for realistic characters and environments.
