The graphics are simple and may initially deter some players, but they contribute to a nostalgic feel reminiscent of classic roguelikes. Despite their simplicity, the graphics do not detract from the game's overall appeal, especially considering its low price and high replay value due to procedural generation and varied gameplay elements.
“As I told the dev when they mentioned this game on Reddit, the graphic style reminds me of an old roguelike called Castle of the Winds, so it has that nostalgic feel I love.”
“The graphics are very simple and might put off a little, but the interface is easy to understand, and with 4 classes, procedurally generated dungeons, items that change effect at every playthrough, plus an unlockable dungeon, it has a good replay value.”

The gameplay of this affordable roguelike features unique mechanics but suffers from awkward controls, requiring players to adapt to using the waxd keys instead of the standard wasd layout or rely on a number pad.
“An affordable roguelike with some cool mechanics.”
“The gameplay is a little awkward, as you either have to get used to using WAXD instead of the normal WASD, or use the number pad of your keyboard (if you have one).”

The game offers strong replayability due to its four distinct classes, procedurally generated dungeons, and items with varying effects in each playthrough, encouraging experimentation. Additionally, the presence of an unlockable dungeon adds further incentive for players to return.
“The graphics are very simple and might put some off, but the interface is easy to understand. With 4 classes, procedurally generated dungeons, and items that change effects with every playthrough, you have to take risks and test them first. Plus, there's an unlockable dungeon that I have yet to beat—I liked the way the player is given hints to unlock it. It has great replay value.”
