"Catherine" is a horror platformer game that can be played as a single-player or with 2-players in co-op mode. The game follows Vincent, who is caught in a nightmare and must choose between his longtime girlfriend Katherine or a new flame, Catherine. Players will navigate Vincent through challenging puzzle levels and engage in various activities, such as hanging out, drinking, and texting. The story unfolds through high-definition cinematics, and the choices made will determine Vincent's fate.

With but a brief glance at the Catherine boxart, you'd be forgiven for presuming that Catherine is nothing more a game of breasts and misogyny and prior to playing the game, that's exactly what I expected. As the saying goes, one should never judge a videogame by its sleeve and upon reflection, I'm glad I didn't.
