  • The game offers a complex and engaging experience for optimizing logistic networks, with a variety of features that can lead to deep gameplay.
  • It has low graphic demands, making it accessible for players with less powerful machines, and the random maps provide excellent longevity.
  • The developer is responsive to community feedback and actively works on updates, showing potential for future improvements.
  • The game is plagued with bugs and technical issues, making it unplayable at times, especially in mid-late game scenarios.
  • There has been a lack of updates for over two years, leading many to believe the game may be abandoned or not worth the current price.
  • The tutorial is insufficient, leaving players to figure out most mechanics on their own, which can be frustrating and overwhelming.

The graphics of the game are generally described as low-demanding yet charming, with some players appreciating the cute and simplistic design, particularly in city growth and vehicle animations. However, there are criticisms regarding the lack of distinctiveness in certain objects and some graphical issues on specific setups, indicating that while the visuals are enjoyable, they could benefit from further refinement and content improvements. Overall, the graphics are seen as a positive aspect, especially for those who prefer a less demanding experience.

    • “I'm having fun with this game and I like the graphics.”
    • “The graphics are also nicely done; the cities grow and they look nice.”
    • “This game is not at all like most transportation games; in fact, it's much better because it has better graphics and the layout is far better than most games in this genre.”
    • “Graphically, the different planes, for example, don't look too distinctive, and changing into simplistic 3D objects did not help their feel.”
    • “I think that this game is totally addictive, even when it is clear that not only is it lacking content and graphics improvements.”
    • “Some graphical issues when playing on a rig with dual monitors.”
  • gameplay24 mentions

The gameplay is described as deep and complicated, requiring players to seek external resources for understanding basic mechanics. While it offers enjoyable core mechanics and some new features, many feel it falls short compared to its predecessor, Transport Tycoon Deluxe, particularly in terms of substantial gameplay differences and content. However, the developer is responsive to community feedback, and modding can significantly enhance the gameplay experience.

    • “I do think the game has good, deep, and complicated gameplay.”
    • “The gameplay is quite simple and enjoyable.”
    • “You have to ask in the forum in order to know some basic gameplay mechanics.”
    • “Admittedly, I did have high hopes for a game supposedly varying from Transport Tycoon Deluxe from 1997, and while it has some differences, unfortunately none are substantial enough to warrant the cost of a game that is surprisingly inferior to the original TTD game, which has a currently free-to-play remake. While yes, the research process is new, it basically introduces unnecessary sub-vehicles with little to no benefit to gameplay itself, short of higher numbers. The task scheduler is currently 'being planned'; multiplayer 'may or may not' be introduced, and signaling is... a little limited at best. The true problem lies in its selling points - while electricity being usable is a nice touch, and the complexity of production chains is nicely expanded over vanilla TTD, electricity serves no actual purpose other than 'just another thing to connect for cities to grow', and can be considered an instantly transported good. The number of goods is not that impressive given the expanded cargo scheme compared to the free remake of Transport Tycoon Deluxe; the difference being the latter does not pretend to be anything else than just a remake.”
    • “The game is fun to play and easy to manage once you understand the mechanics.”
  • story6 mentions

The story begins with a crucial "power quest" that impacts the player's cities, establishing a sense of urgency. After completing this initial quest, players have the freedom to explore various optional quests at their own pace, allowing for a more relaxed narrative experience.

  • stability6 mentions

The game is reported to be quite buggy, with various glitches present, but it does not crash or become unplayable. Users have experienced issues like freezing when alt-tabbing and difficulties with resolution changes, particularly on Windows 10. Overall, while stability is a concern, it remains functional for most players.

    • “The state of the game is very buggy.”
    • “Alt+Tab freezes, you can't change the resolution, and God forbid you have Windows 10. Don't let my low minutes of play fool you; I play most of my games offline.”
    • “Although there are a few glitches I've run into, I still haven't found anything that makes the game crash or is totally unplayable.”
  • grinding4 mentions

Players find the grinding aspect of the game to be tedious and time-consuming, particularly when it comes to upgrading vehicles and managing routes, which can feel manual and cumbersome. The randomness of resource sources and destinations further detracts from the enjoyment, leading some to feel that extensive grinding is necessary to progress.

    • “You'll need a second life for grinding.”
    • “Upgrading existing vehicles and specifying routes is tedious; monitoring older vehicles/routes is manual and difficult.”
    • “Resource sources and destinations are too random to be entertaining.”
  • music4 mentions

The music in the game is generally described as relaxing and suitable for the background, but many users feel that it could benefit from a greater variety or increased volume to enhance the overall experience.

    • “The relaxing background music creates a soothing atmosphere.”
    • “The background music is quite relaxing and enhances the overall experience.”
    • “I appreciate the relaxing background music that complements the gameplay.”
    • “Could do with more background music.”
    • “Could do with more background music.”
  • optimization2 mentions

The game's optimization is highly praised, with players reporting smooth performance and high frame rates even on lower-end machines, despite the presence of numerous vehicles on the map.

    • “But the best part is the game's optimization - I have hundreds of different vehicles around the map and the FPS are really high (while I don't really have a high-end machine).”
