Tale of the ~Tildebeest

"Tale of the Tildebeest" is a text-based survival horror game based on the themes of tilde and grammatical contraction from The Arbitrary Gamejam 19. Players must navigate a mysterious world filled with ominous tilde-marked creatures while surviving against the elements and using contracted words to communicate. The game offers a unique and atmospheric experience, combining horror tropes with unconventional narrative mechanics. Unfortunately, the game could not be fully realized due to time constraints, but what is available is still an intriguing and unsettling journey.
