Super Mario World is a fantasy platformer game and the first entry in the Super Mario franchise on the SNES. The 2D platformer follows Mario's quest to defeat Bowser's underlings and rescue Princess Peach, offering a save system, expanded movement arsenal, new items, less linear world map, and innovative level design for single-player or cooperative multi-player gameplay.
