The gameplay features a swinging mechanic that players can learn through practice, complemented by helpful tips for navigation. The introduction of a leapfrog mode enhances the experience by adding a cooperative element to the golfing mechanics, although some users find the overall golf gameplay to be lacking.
“After explaining how the swinging mechanic worked, I let them learn by playing and I gave them some tips along the way, like how to find the ball with the Y button, etc. When everyone was comfortable with how the game was played, I switched to leapfrog mode and we had a tournament in teams of 2 on a new map.”
“Speedy Golf has a leap frog mode that adds a really engaging co-op mechanic to golfing.”
“I wasn't expecting much, but the golf gameplay is unbearable.”
