"Space Will" is a Roguelike survival game set in a sci-fi space environment. Players choose a "core" and "crew" to begin their exploration of a galaxy, collecting new "units" or "chips" along the way to enhance their warship's abilities and weapons. With dual-angle joystick operation, players can build and customize their battleship to become the strongest in the galaxy. Each "core" and "unit" has a limited number of interfaces, but this can be increased for further customization. The right mouse button can be used to adjust the optimal angle for combat with the "crew".

The gameplay of "Space Will" is a slower-paced experience compared to "Brotato," featuring a diverse array of enemies and new mechanics like ship customization and weapon management. While it retains the core elements of wave-based combat and upgrades, some players find the controls challenging, particularly in piloting and aiming. Overall, the game offers addictive gameplay with solid build variations and well-integrated mechanics, appealing to fans of the genre.
“The gameplay of Space Will is a bit slower than Brotato, mainly because the enemies that rush you move a bit more slowly, but a greater variety of enemies appears earlier, with enemies using fireball barrages and sweeping beams that limit your movement even from the lowest levels.”
“If you like Brotato and/or games like it, you'll likely not be disappointed with Space Will; it's overall a very solid game that builds off of the same Brotato formula (small short waves, tag-based upgrades and weapons; escalating difficulties, tons of unlocks, bosses at certain waves) and adds a few new mechanics (you build your ship using a little grid where you snap your weapons on, managing load-size which influences the movespeed of your ship; you customize available upgrades for your ship outside of matches instead of using 'banishes') which all feel well integrated instead of cumbersome.”
“Core gameplay is solid, with lots of variations on builds.”

“Not your regular 'Vampire Survivors'; the controls are weird. It feels like learning to move and aim is the main mechanic. While I love this genre, I don't want to spend hours trying to learn how to pilot and aim with this 'spaceship'.”
“Core gameplay is solid, but it lacks the engaging pace and fluidity that I expected from a game in this genre.”
