About
"Solomon's Link" is a short , story-driven point-and-click demo following two fugitives' first night of freedom. After years in prison, L.T. and R.T. must navigate an industrial maze, using their unique strengths to overcome obstacles and their shared chain. Although it was meant to be a full game, due to personal issues, it was never completed and is now available only as an archived demo.

- The game has a unique and interesting concept that revolves around two characters being handcuffed together, offering potential for engaging puzzles and narrative.
- The presentation is polished, with good graphics and intuitive controls that enhance the gameplay experience.
- The developers have made the game fully free and even released the source code, demonstrating a commitment to the gaming community and encouraging future development.
- There is an excessive amount of text to click through, which can make the experience feel tedious and detracts from the overall enjoyment.
- The gameplay is very short and lacks meaningful choices, leading to a feeling of being guided rather than engaged in the story.
- The puzzles are not challenging enough, often allowing players to progress by blindly clicking rather than through thoughtful interaction.
story
24 mentions Positive Neutral NegativeThe game's story is characterized by minimal text, which some players find enhances engagement, particularly through the character GLaDOS, who taunts players in a way that makes them feel involved. However, the narrative suffers from a lack of clarity and depth, with players noting that certain elements, like the usefulness of the gate, are not well-explained, leading to a reliance on trial and error rather than story comprehension. Overall, while the game has potential with its intriguing character dynamics, it leaves players wanting more substantial storytelling and context.
“Nice game with a lot of potential regarding the storyline and riddles.”
“I liked the few hints on the story behind one of the characters; shame there was no time to give the other one the same amount of justice.”
“Short-lived but intriguing story between a knuckle-headed brute that knows his limits and a stern lady that knows her way around.”
“I'm not quite sure why strong language was desired; it doesn't add to the story.”
“Because you can solve it blindly, there's no real point in reading the story, which in turn relates to issue 1.”
“Then somehow the wedge became useful for the gate, but I don't think that there was anything in the story for the gate that indicated that it would be useful.”
