  • The game is fun and has great potential, with players looking forward to future updates.
  • It offers a relaxing gameplay experience, making it a good time-waster.
  • The core gameplay loop of catching and selling fish is enjoyable, even if it currently lacks depth.
  • The game is plagued by numerous bugs, including a game-breaking issue that prevents players from buying bait after relaunching.
  • There is a significant lack of content, with only a few fish types and limited gameplay mechanics available.
  • The developers have been unresponsive and have not provided updates or fixes for existing issues, leading to concerns about the game's future.

    4 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The gameplay of this fishing simulator has been criticized for its simplistic and underdeveloped mechanics, with players noting that the fishing process is overly basic and lacks variety, as only five types of fish are available and some bait types are missing. Many feel the game is not worth its current price, suggesting it resembles a mobile port with limited content, and emphasize the need for more depth and progression to enhance player engagement. Overall, while the core gameplay loop is acceptable, significant improvements are necessary to meet player expectations.

    • “I'd love for there to be more to the actual fishing, but the core gameplay loop is fine.”
    • “Currently at the price of $4, this game is hardly worth that in its current state. The fishing mechanic is almost non-existent; you left-click and hold, wait for a green bar, and release. Then you left-click and a fish flies at your feet... kind of strange. You can only catch 5 types of fish, and 2 out of the 3 bait types are missing, along with an unknown number of fish types that are not in the game. I read in the reviews that someone paid $2 for this game, and I would say that is the right amount to pay for the content available. Honestly, there isn't much, and what little there is feels like a port from a mobile version that has more content than this game. With real life costing so much to live, I would rather not spend $4 on a game that has less content than a mobile fishing game. My words to the developers are simple: you must add 'time'—time equals happy consumers. No one wants a game they can beat in a day, and nobody wants to play a game where they cannot progress. This game requires a lot of work, time, and effort. As a beta tester, I can tell you right now, if you do not listen to your player base, you will not have any players.”
