Relayer Reaches for the Strategy RPG Stars
Relayer is a sci-fi mecha strategy RPG. Take control of the Starchildren, pilots of the Stellar Gear combat robots and Earth's last line of defense against the Relayers, a nefarious group of aliens intent on destroying all life. Terra, inheritor of the will of Earth, also needs to find and reconnect with her long-lost sister Luna, inheritor of the Moon's will, and the Relayers' ally. PS5 version reviewed.Relayer has strong fundamentals, but in its current state lacks that spark that'll make it a headline addition to the next Super Robot Wars roster. Stick with it through the rougher patches and slow start, though, and you'll find a worthy experience.
