  • The game suffers from numerous technical issues, including bugs that can lead to frustrating gameplay experiences.

The music in the game is generally well-received, contributing to an immersive experience that feels suited for console play. However, players have reported issues with the music's volume levels, particularly in the final stages, where it can become overwhelmingly loud. Overall, while the soundtrack enhances the gameplay, technical inconsistencies may detract from the experience.

    • “From the graphics to the music, this game, for all intents and purposes, feels like it should be played on the console.”
    • “The music decided to jump to overwhelming volumes in the final stage (Olympus) and the second to last stage (forgive the lack of spelling for the name, but the waterfall area).”

    4 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The gameplay is generally solid and enjoyable, with users noting that any design changes did not negatively impact the experience. However, there are some technical issues that may affect overall performance.

    • “While the gameplay is solid, there are a few technical issues worth noting.”
  • grinding
    4 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

Players find the grinding aspect of the game to be somewhat unnecessary, as it can lead to tedious backtracking, especially in a large world. While exploration is encouraged, it can detract from the overall experience due to the time spent on repetitive tasks.

    • “I managed to finish this game in around 3 hours on my first playthrough (got lost a couple of times, and had some extra backtracking and grinding that I discovered was completely unnecessary).”
    • “However, while the size of the world gives a lot to explore, it also makes backtracking a bit tedious.”
  • graphics
    2 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

Reviewers highlight that the game's graphics are impressive and evoke a console-quality experience, enhancing the overall immersion alongside its music.

    • “From the graphics to the music, this game, for all intents and purposes, feels like it should be played on the console.”

    2 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The game's story is straightforward and lacks depth, with obvious quests that do not engage players significantly. The world feels simplistic, requiring minimal effort to navigate and discover unlockables.

    • “The game is simple, the quests are obvious, and the world itself requires little attention to really keep tabs on where all the unlockables are.”
